The COVID-19 Immunity Task Force, funded by the Government of Canada, brings together university, hospital and public health expertise to map the scope of coronavirus infection in Canada over a two year period. The COVID-19 Task Force aims to catalyze, support, and, where appropriate and feasible, harmonize the design and rapid implementation of population-based studies that will generate reliable first estimates of SARS-CoV-2 immunity, overall and in priority populations across Canada.

Reporting to the Manager Communications of the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force Secretariat and under the leadership of the Associate Scientific Director, the Communications Advisor supports the Secretariat in advancing its mandate and meeting the expectations of the Task Force Leadership group. The Task Force is seeking a Communications Advisor with a marketing mindset. The successful candidate will be a compelling communicator who has expertise demystifying research for a range of audiences, together with a passion for the Task Force’s mission. He or she will flourish in this position by building strategic relationships and powerfully communicating the Task Force story, while navigating the larger organizational context.
