Frequently Asked Questions

Seeking information on vaccine procurement and rollout?
The COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force advises the federal government on COVID-19 vaccine procurement and the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) advises the federal, provincial and territorial governments on vaccine delivery policy and priorities. Vaccine rollout plans are determined at the provincial level.

Seeking a test for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19?
We continue to receive requests for antibody testing from people who recall having had symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 disease but who never received a positive test for the active infection. Our mandate is to generate estimates of population level immunity, via large-scale studies. As such, we are unable to provide antibody tests to individuals.
